Will SIGA Slates rust or discolour?

All SIGA slates are tested to BSEN 12326 and achieve the best classification “T1”. This states that any metallic content (pyrite) should not form runs of rust or staining. We do not supply “T2” slates which may rust or stain. All slate has a metallic content and testing is carried out to minimise risk of this happening.
